The Aithre Connect application is used to pair with Aithre devices to monitor carbon monoxide and portable oxygen tank pressure levels in the field of aviation.
The Aithre Shield 4.0 and Aithre Shield EX 2.0 devices pair with the Aithre Connect application to provide an instantaneous reading and a 15 minute trend graph. Additionally, four hours of history is stored. Voice and popup notifications provide alerts when the 2ppm, 10ppm, 50ppm, or user-defined thresholds are crossed. When your iOS device is also paired with your aviation headset, the Siri voice notifications are audible in conjunction with radio communication. The Aithre Shield devices are sensitive from 0-255ppm with a response time of 30 seconds. They require no recalibration for 10 years due to advanced fuel-cell type electrochemical sensors.
The Aithre Altus device pairs with the Aithre Connect application to provide oxygen tank pressure readings on your iOS device. In addition to discrete pressure readings, there is also a 15 minute historical trend provided along with a use rate and time remaining indication. Pressure altitude is determined using an on-board pressure altimeter. Voice and notifications are provided regarding a drop below 500 psi, flight above levels requiring FAA oxygen, and flight above user-defined levels. These Siri notifications are also audible via your aviation headset when also paired to your iOS device.
A new hypoxia risk indicator is provided to give a snapshot of hypoxia risk. Quizzes are provided at regular intervals to test the pilots ability to solve simple math problems over time. Artificial intelligence applies disparate factors, including carbon monoxide levels and quiz results to provide the graphical indicator of hypoxia risk.

The Aithre Shield EX carbon monoxide detectors are also compatible with Garmin G3x, Dynon Avionics, and Advanced Flight Systems.
